Setting up IndexNow for Webflow in IndexPilot is fast and easy. Once connected, IndexPilot automatically submits new and updated URLs to Bing the moment you hit “Publish” in Webflow—no manual pinging, waiting, or guesswork.
Before You Begin
To use IndexNow, you’ll need a free Bing Webmaster Tools account.
If you don’t already have one, you can create a Bing Webmaster account in under a minute.
Step 1: Connect Your Webflow Account
In IndexPilot, go to Integrations → Webflow
Click “Sign in with Webflow”
Authorize IndexPilot to access your Webflow workspace
You'll be redirected back to IndexPilot
Match the Webflow site with its corresponding IndexPilot site
Once connected, you'll see a green “Connected” status
Step 2: Download & Upload the Key File to Webflow Assets
IndexNow requires a TXT verification file placed on your site. Here's how:
Download your IndexNow key from IndexPilot
Open your Webflow project
Navigate to the Assets panel (left sidebar)
Click the Upload button
Select the IndexNow TXT file you downloaded from IndexPilot
🔒 Important: Don’t rename the file. Upload it exactly as it was downloaded.
Step 3: Copy the File Link
Find the uploaded TXT file in your Webflow Assets panel
Click the ⋯ menu on the file
Select “Copy link”
Your copied link will look like this: (Webflow asset URL/link)
https://uploads-ssl.webflow.com/abc123/your-key-file.txt
Step 4: Create a 301 Redirect to the Key Path
Now we’ll make your key accessible at the correct public path:
In Webflow, go to Site Settings → Publishing
Scroll down to the 301 Redirects section
Click “Add redirect”
Paste the copied Webflow asset link in the New path
Paste the exact key filename in the Old path, e.g.:

Step 5: Publish & Verify
Publish Your Webflow Site:
Click the “Publish” button in Webflow
Select your production domain
Click “Publish to selected domains”
Then in IndexPilot:
Click the green “Verify IndexNow Key” button to complete setup.
