How to Use Auto-Pilot

Use Auto Pilot for automated daily blog article creation.

Updated yesterday

Auto-Pilot is IndexPilot’s automated content system. It generates and publishes one article per day for your site, handling keyword selection, writing, and publishing automatically.

Auto-Pilot Basics

  • Enabled by Default: AutoPilot starts working as soon as you create a new site

  • Daily Limit: Uses your plan’s article allowance

    • Starter → 30/month

    • Growth → 100/month

    • Scale → 250/month

    • Enterprise → 500/month

Turning Auto-Pilot On or Off

  1. Go to your Planner page

  2. Select the site

  3. Use the AutoPilot toggle to enable or disable

  • On → Schedules one article daily

  • Off → Stops new scheduling (existing content stays)

What Auto-Pilot Does Each Day

  1. Picks a keyword from your pool

  2. Generates a 2,000–4,000 word article with images and links

  3. Publishes to your CMS

  4. Submits to search engines for indexing

Draft or Published

  • CMS Integrations: You can choose whether AutoPilot posts live or saves as a draft in your integration settings

  • Other CMS: Follows the same draft vs. publish preference

Monitoring Progress

In the Planner dashboard you can:

  • See scheduled and generated articles

  • Check article status (planned, generating, published)

  • Track how many articles you’ve used in your plan

FAQs

What if I run out of keywords?
Auto-Pilot will automatically use AI to generate new targeted keywords for article creation.

Does each site have its own settings?
Yes, you control Auto-Pilot per site.

With AutoPilot enabled, you’ll get a steady flow of optimized content every day — no manual effort required.
